The preparation is used in adults and in children from birth for respiratory tract diseases accompanied by cough with difficult expectoration of mucus.
Active ingredient: Marshmallow root extract (dry extract of marshmallow root) (contains total reducing monosaccharides, calculated as glucose – not less than 1.0%) – 25 g.
Excipients: Sodium benzoate, sucrose (white sugar), purified water.
Althes Syrup-Acos is used in adults and in children from birth for respiratory tract diseases accompanied by cough with difficult expectoration of mucus (tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).
Hypersensitivity to marshmallow root extract (dry extract) or any component of the preparation
Sucrase/isomaltase deficiency
Fructose intolerance
Glucose-galactose malabsorption
Patients with diabetes mellitus or those on a low-carbohydrate diet should consult a physician before using the product.
Use during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child. Consult a doctor before use.
Oral use.
Adults: 1 tablespoon of syrup diluted in 1/2 glass of warm water, 4–5 times daily after meals.
Children under 12 years: 1 teaspoon of syrup diluted in 1/4 glass of warm water, 4–5 times daily after meals.
Children aged 12–18 years: The dosing regimen is the same as for adults.
Duration of treatment: 10–15 days. Duration and possibility of repeated courses should be agreed upon with a physician.

The preparation does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring concentration and fast psychomotor reactions (e.g., driving or operating machinery, working as a dispatcher or operator).
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in the original packaging (bottle in a box).
