Diprosphan suspension is used for arthritis, asthma, allergic rhinitis, bronchitis, itching, and urticaria.
Active substances:
Betamethasone sodium phosphate: 2.63 mg (equivalent to 2 mg betamethasone)
Excipients: Disodium phosphate, anhydrous; sodium chloride; disodium edetate; polysorbate 80; benzyl alcohol; methylparaben; propylparaben; sodium carboxymethylcellulose; polyethylene glycol; injectable water.
Diprosphan belongs to the corticosteroid class. It helps reduce inflammation, swelling, redness, itching, and allergic reactions. It is used to treat various inflammatory conditions including:
Arthritis (certain joint diseases), bursitis (inflammation of the joint capsule), sciatica (pain radiating from the lower back down the leg), lumbago (lower back muscle and joint pain), and other bone or deep tissue diseases.
Asthma, allergic rhinitis, bronchitis (inflammation of the mucous membrane inside the bronchi), drug allergies, allergic conditions like insect bites.
Inflammation, itching, urticaria (hives), hair loss, scars, and skin diseases such as cystic acne.
Other conditions diagnosed by a physician.
Diprosphan must be administered by a doctor or under medical supervision.
It is a suspension intended for injection and should be shaken well before use. Usually, the injection is given by your doctor or healthcare professional. The dosage is determined individually based on your condition.
Injection can be administered intramuscularly, intra-articularly (into the joint), periarticularly (around the joint), into the affected area, on the skin, or into synovial bursae. It can also be injected into soft tissues.
It must NOT be injected intravenously or subcutaneously.
Your doctor will decide the appropriate dose and administer the injection according to your disease.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the box and ampoule.
Store at room temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from freezing.
