Used for the short-term treatment of acute inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, injuries, strains, and other soft tissue damage.
One film-coated tablet contains:
Tenoxicam — 20 mg
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, purified talc, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172).

Avetexi tablets are taken orally.
Preferably taken during or after meals.
The recommended dose is 20 mg once daily at the same time each day.
Higher doses are not recommended as no significant clinical benefit is observed, and the risk of side effects increases.
Usually, the treatment duration does not exceed 7 days, but in severe cases, it may be extended up to 14 days.
Dizziness, headache
Pain and discomfort in the epigastric and abdominal area
Dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, constipation, digestive disorders
Stomatitis, anorexia
Gastrointestinal bleeding, gastrointestinal tract perforation, ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract, peptic ulcer sometimes with fatal outcomes (especially in elderly patients)
Bloody vomiting, bloody stools, oral ulcers, gastritis, dry mouth
Exacerbation of colitis and Crohn's disease
If any side effect not mentioned in the instructions occurs, the patient should consult the treating physician.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acetylsalicylic acid, and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
Hypersensitivity to salicylates, ibuprofen, and aspirin accompanied by asthma, rhinitis, angioneurotic edema, or urticaria
Active or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/bleeding, melena, bloody vomiting, perforation caused by NSAIDs, severe gastritis
Significant liver and kidney dysfunction
Diabetes mellitus
Arterial hypertension, heart failure
Pregnancy and lactation
Hereditary fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption
Use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.
Tablets should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºC, in a dry place, protected from light, and out of reach of children.
