It is used for urinary tract infections, prostate infections, and skin and soft tissue infections.
Active ingredient: Levofloxacin – Each tablet contains 500 mg of levofloxacin.
Other ingredients (core): Microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, crospovidone, silicified microcrystalline cellulose, sodium stearyl fumarate, colloidal anhydrous silica.
Adiflox is used to treat the following infections:
Sinus infections
Lung and respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia
Urinary tract infections, including infections of the bladder and kidneys
Prostate infections
Skin and soft tissue infections
Always take Adiflox exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Adiflox film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of fluid.
The prescribed dose should be taken at regular intervals of 12 or 24 hours.
Tablets may be taken during meals or between meals.
Your doctor will determine the exact dose of Adiflox based on:
The location and type of infection
The severity of the condition
Your individual response to the treatment
Do not adjust the dose on your own.
If you feel that the medicine is too weak or too strong, speak with your doctor.
Avoid Direct Sunlight:
During treatment with Adiflox and for two days after completion, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Protect yourself by wearing a hat and using sunscreen, as there is an increased risk of skin redness and rash.
Do not take Adiflox if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant.
Do not take Adiflox while breastfeeding.
Do not store at temperatures above 25°C.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
