Tonsilgon N tablets are used for the prevention of complications caused by respiratory viral infections and as an adjunct treatment during antibiotic therapy for bacterial infections.
Each Tonzilgon N tablet contains powdered preparations of:
Marshmallow root (Althaeae radix) – 8 mg
Chamomile flowers (Matricariae flos) – 6 mg
Horsetail herb (Equiseti herba) – 10 mg
Walnut leaves (Juglandis folium) – 12 mg
Yarrow herb (Millefolii herba) – 4 mg
Oak bark (Quercus cortex) – 4 mg
Dandelion herb (Taraxaci herba) – 4 mg
Severe and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis)
Prophylaxis of complications caused by respiratory viral infections and as an adjunct treatment during antibiotic therapy for bacterial infections
During acute symptoms:
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 2 coated tablets 5-6 times daily
Children 6 to 11 years: 1 coated tablet 5-6 times daily
After symptom relief, treatment with Tonzilgon N should continue for 1 more week
After resolution of acute symptoms:
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: 2 coated tablets 3 times daily
Children 6 to 11 years: 1 coated tablet 3 times daily
The coated tablet should be swallowed whole, without chewing, with a small amount of water.
Hypersensitivity to any active ingredient or excipients
Allergic reactions to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family
Since there is insufficient experience during pregnancy and lactation, the medication should be used only after strict risk-benefit assessment by a physician.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 25°C
