Combined Medication

Clinical-Pharmacological Group:

Ophthalmology → Anti-inflammatory agents for local ophthalmic use → Glucocorticoid agents.

Composition (per 1 ml):

Active ingredients:

• Neomycin sulfate 6500 IU
  
  

• Polymyxin B sulfate 10000 IU
  
  

• Dexamethasone metasulfobenzoate 0.25 mg
  
  

• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 2.5 mg
  
  

Excipients:

Methylparahydroxybenzoate, Sodium chloride, Citric acid monohydrate, Macrogol 400, Polysorbate 80, Sodium hydroxide and/or Hydrochloric acid, Purified water.

Pharmacotherapeutic Group:

Decongestants and other locally used nasal preparations. Dexamethasone in combination.

Indications:

 For infectious and inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, sinuses, and nasopharynx, including:

• Acute and chronic rhinitis
  
  

• Acute and chronic rhinopharyngitis
  
  

• Sinusitis
  
  

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults: 1 spray into each nostril 3–5 times daily
  
  

• Children 2.5–15 years: 1 spray into each nostril 3 times daily
  
  

• Treatment duration: 5–10 days
  
  

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to any component
  
  

• Suspected closed-angle glaucoma
  
  

• Concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors
  
  

• Viral infections
  
  

• Kidney disease with albuminuria or renal insufficiency
  
  

• Pregnancy and lactation
  
  

• Children under 2.5 years
  
  

Special Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, or hyperthyroidism
  
  

• Components may affect doping tests in athletes
  
  

• Long-term or high-dose use may cause systemic effects
  
  

• Not intended for nasal irrigation
  
  

• Avoid contact with eyes; if accidental exposure occurs, rinse with plenty of water
  
  

Use during Pregnancy and Lactation:

• Contraindicated
  
  

Pediatric Use:

• Safety and efficacy in children under 2.5 years have not been established.
