Ambroxol Bene syrup is used in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with the production of thick mucus.
Each 100g of syrup contains either 0.3g or 0.6g of Ambroxol hydrochloride.
Excipients: benzoic acid, tartaric acid, propylene glycol, glycerin, sorbitol, sodium metabisulfite, sodium saccharin, cherry flavoring, purified water.
Used in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with the production of thick mucus, including:
Acute and chronic bronchitis
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Bronchial asthma with impaired mucus clearance
Pneumonia
Bronchiectasis
Administer orally during or after meals with a small amount of fluid.
Ambroxol Bene Pharm Syrup 15mg/5ml dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times daily
Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 2–3 times daily
Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) 3 times daily
Treatment duration:
Up to 14 days.
After 14 days, dose reduction is possible. For long-term treatment, the dose may be halved.
Gastrointestinal: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain (especially with prolonged high doses)
Rarely: Weakness, headache, allergic reactions
Contraindicated during the first trimester of pregnancy.
In the second and third trimesters, and during breastfeeding, use only if the therapeutic benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
When taken at recommended doses, the medication does not affect concentration or psychomotor reaction speed.
Shelf life: 3 years
Store in a dry, light-protected place, out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
