International Name: Paracetamol + Chlorpheniramine

Clinical-Pharmacological Group:

Medicinal products used for the treatment of cold and flu symptoms.

Pharmacological Properties:

Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic agent. It does not affect platelet aggregation or prothrombin synthesis. After oral administration, it is rapidly absorbed, and its effect appears within 15–30 minutes.

Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that relieves nasal discharge, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, and tearing.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet every 4–6 hours as needed.
  
  

• Do not exceed 6 tablets per day.
  
  

Indications for Use:

A-Ferin® Forte tablets are indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with cold and flu, including:

• Nasal discharge
  
  

• Sneezing
  
  

• Itching of the nose and throat
  
  

• Headache
  
  

• Inflammatory pain
  
  

• Sore throat
  
  

• Weakness and fever
  
  

• Rhinitis
  
  

• Tearing and eye irritation
  
  

Side Effects:

Possible side effects include:

• Skin rash
  
  

• Blurred vision
  
  

• Dizziness
  
  

• Occasionally, gastrointestinal disturbances
  
  

• Drowsiness
  
  

• Dry mouth

Contraindications:

 A-Ferin® Forte tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

• Pregnancy category B. Animal studies have not shown risk to the fetus, but there are no well-controlled studies in humans.
  
  

• Use during pregnancy only if clearly necessary and under medical supervision.
  
  

• Do not use during lactation without a doctor’s recommendation.
  
  

Pediatric Use:

A-Ferin® Forte tablets are not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Drug Interactions:

 During treatment with A-Ferin® Forte tablets, possible drug interactions should be considered.
