Adaptol capsules 300 mg are used in the treatment of cardialgia of various origins, neuroses, and nicotine dependence.
Each capsule contains:
Thymicolinyl – 300 mg
Excipients: Methylcellulose, Calcium stearate
Adaptol is intended for use in adults.
Neuroses and neurotic-like conditions characterized by irritability, emotional instability, anxiety, and fear
Cardialgia of various origins (not related to ischemic heart disease)
To improve tolerance to neuroleptic agents and tranquilizers by mitigating their somatovegetative and neurological side effects
Nicotine dependence (as part of complex therapy)
Adaptol is taken orally at a dose of 300–500 mg, 2–3 times daily.
Maximum single dose: 3 g
Maximum daily dose: 10 g
Duration of treatment ranges from several days to 2–3 months.
For nicotine dependence, a dose of 600–1000 mg daily is prescribed for 5–6 weeks.
Adaptol does not cause dependence or withdrawal syndrome.
The medication can be taken regardless of meals.
If a dose is missed, treatment should be continued with the previously prescribed dose without doubling the next dose.
Consult a doctor if necessary.
No dosage adjustment is required for elderly patients or patients with liver insufficiency.
Dosage adjustment for patients with renal insufficiency has not been studied, therefore Adaptol should be used with caution in this group.
Pediatric population: Safety and efficacy data in children and adolescents under 18 years of age are not available.
The active substance penetrates well into all tissues and fluids of the body.
Due to the lack of adequately controlled clinical studies, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25ºC, out of reach of children.
