Amelotex-New Gel is used for symptomatic therapy to reduce pain and inflammation; it does not affect the progression of the disease.
Each 100 g of gel contains:
Active ingredient: Meloxicam (100% substance) – 1.0 g
Excipients: Methylpyrrolidone, Ethanol 95%, Carbomer, Trometamol, Orange blossom oil, Lavender oil, Purified water.
Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis accompanied by pain.
Used to reduce pain and inflammation; does not affect the progression of the disease.
Hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any of the excipients (including other NSAIDs).
Complete or partial combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent nasal and paranasal sinus polyposis, and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs (including in medical history).
Skin integrity damage at the intended application sites.
Pediatric patients under 18 years (efficacy and safety not established).
Pregnancy.
Active phase of gastric or duodenal ulcer.
Active gastrointestinal bleeding.
Progressive kidney disease, severe renal failure, or active liver disease.
Confirmed hyperkalemia.
Inflammatory bowel disease.
Elderly patients.
Coagulation disorders.
Chronic heart failure.
Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
For external use only. Do not ingest!
Apply a strip of gel approximately 4 cm long (about 2 g) to clean, dry skin over the affected area twice daily. Gently rub in for 2–3 minutes.
Treatment duration is determined individually depending on the location and severity of symptoms and should not exceed 4 weeks.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze.
