Dosage form: solution for external and internal use.
Composition: dry aloe extract – 0.7 g/50 ml, 96% ethyl alcohol, sorbic acid, purified water.
Contains a complex of biologically active substances: enzymes, vitamins, anthraglycosides, free anthraquinones (emodin and chrysophanol), microelements, and polysaccharides.
Description: light brown liquid with a bitter taste and characteristic odor. Darkens under the influence of air and light. Formation of sediment during storage is допустable.
Pharmacological action: aloe juice improves appetite and enhances the secretion of the glands of the gastrointestinal tract. Anthraglycoside aloin, free anthraquinones (emodin and chrysophanol), and resins irritate the chemoreceptors of the large intestine, which determines the laxative effect of the preparation.
Aloe has anti-inflammatory properties and enhances regenerative processes of the skin and mucous membranes.
Aloe juice has bactericidal activity against cocci, intestinal infections, and the causative agent of diphtheria. Polysaccharides contained in aloe, in combination with microelements such as zinc, selenium, and copper, provide immunomodulatory activity.
Indication: It is used in complex therapy, as an aid mean.
• chronic hypoacid gastritis, enterocolitis, chronic constipation, loss of appetite;
• decreased resistance of the body to infectious diseases;
• acute rhinitis;
• ulcerative stomatitis;
• purulent wounds, burns, trophic ulcers, furunculosis, dermatitis, skin tuberculosis, radiation skin diseases;
• cervical erosion, colpitis.
Contraindications:
• hemorrhagic bleeding, metrorrhagia (due to increased blood flow in abdominal organs);
• liver cirrhosis, chronic pancreatitis; appendicitis; Crohn’s disease, ulcerative enterocolitis;
• diffuse glomerulonephritis;
• allergic reactions;
• pregnancy.
Side effects:
• when used for a long time and in large doses to obtain a laxative effect, it may cause suppression of colon peristalsis due to irritation of the mucous membrane;
• allergic reactions;
• increased uterine tone during pregnancy.
Method of administration and dosage: taken orally: 1 or 2 teaspoons 2–3 times a day, 20–30 minutes before meals. Course of treatment: 15–30 days.
As drops: 5–8 drops in each nostril 2–3 times a day.
For external use: applied as dressings.
In gynecological practice: used in the form of tampons.
Interaction with other medicinal products: prolonged use may cause depletion of potassium in the body and enhance the effect of cardiac glycosides and antiarrhythmic drugs.
When combined with thiazide diuretics, licorice preparations, and corticosteroids, the risk of potassium deficiency increases.
Aloe enhances the effect of laxatives.
Overdose: in case of overdose, side effects may intensify. Treatment is symptomatic.
Use during pregnancy and lactation:
Use of the product during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery: does not affect.
Shelf life: 2 years.
After the expiration date or if defects are detected during visual inspection, the product must not be used.
Storage conditions: store at room temperature, protected from light.
