Aglinox is an oral antidiabetic medication that contains repaglinide, which helps the pancreas produce more insulin, thereby reducing blood sugar levels.
Type II diabetes is a condition where the pancreas does not produce enough insulin to control blood sugar, or the body does not properly respond to insulin (also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes).
Aglinox is used to manage Type II diabetes in combination with diet and exercise. Treatment usually begins when diet and exercise alone do not adequately control blood glucose levels. Aglinox may also be used in combination with metformin.
