Aknelac Cream 0.1% – 30g Tube
Composition:

Active ingredient: Adapalene
Each gram of cream contains 1 mg of adapalene.

Other ingredients include: methylparahydroxybenzoate (E218), propylparahydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium edetate, glycerin, carbomer 974 P, methyl glucose sesquistearate, macrogol 20 methyl glucose sesquistearate, squalane, cyclomethicone 5, phenoxyethanol, sodium hydroxide, and purified water.

Indications:

Aknelac cream contains adapalene as an active substance, which acts similarly to retinoids (a group of potent drugs used to treat skin conditions).
When applied topically, adapalene helps normalize epidermal keratinization and differentiation, prevents acne formation, and reduces inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules).
It has a stronger anti-inflammatory effect than conventional retinoids.
Aknelac is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate juvenile acne (Acne vulgaris), including comedonal and papulopustular acne.

Usage:

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has instructed. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

Aknelac cream should be applied once daily, preferably in the evening.
Begin treatment by applying a small amount of cream to the affected skin, avoiding contact with the eyes, lips, and nasolabial folds. Apply 10–15 minutes after washing and drying the skin.
Wash hands thoroughly after application.
If no improvement is seen after 3 months of treatment, consult your doctor for further guidance on continued use.

Use in children:
Aknelac cream is intended for use only in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:

Donotuse Aknelac cream during pregnancy or if you plan to become pregnant.

Breastfeeding:
Before using any medication during breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
If your doctor recommends using Aknelac cream while breastfeeding, do not apply it to the chest area, to avoid accidental contact with the infant.

Driving and operating machinery:

Aknelac cream has no known effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.

Storage:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.
Shelf life after first opening: 6 months.
