Adults and Elderly:

Recommended initial dose for IV or IM: 0.5–9 mg (higher doses may be used if needed).
Intra-articular dose: 0.4–4 mg depending on joint size.
For skin diseases: same as intra-articular dose.
Periarticular injections: 2–6 mg.
