Hawthorn fruits – 1.87 g
Hawthorn flowers – 0.62 g
70% ethyl alcohol – sufficient quantity to make 25 ml tincture
Contains a complex of biologically active substances: triterpene compounds (oleanolic and ursolic acids), flavonoids (hyperoside, quercetin, rutin), tannins, caffeic and chlorogenic acids, choline, and acetylcholine.
Has sedative, cardiotonic (positive inotropic effect through regulation of calcium metabolism in cardiomyocytes), vasodilatory, and hypotensive effects.
Relieves neurogenic arrhythmias, regulates lipid metabolism, and increases myocardial sensitivity to cardiac glycosides.
Functional heart disorders: tachycardia, extrasystolic arrhythmia
Angioneuroses
Neurocirculatory dystonia (cardiac and hypertensive types)
Possible allergic reactions (rash, itching)
With prolonged use in high doses: bradycardia, arterial hypotension
Take orally 20–30 drops, 3 times daily before meals (dilute in 1/4 glass of water).
Treatment duration is determined individually by a physician.
Do not double the dose. Take the next dose as soon as possible or continue as scheduled.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
