Used for the treatment of hypertension in adults when blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled with candesartan cilexetil or hydrochlorothiazide alone (monotherapy).
Kasarki H Tablet 16 mg + 12.5 mg
Active ingredients: Candesartan cilexetil and Hydrochlorothiazide
Each tablet contains:
Candesartan cilexetil (equivalent to 100% active substance) – 16 mg
Hydrochlorothiazide (equivalent to 100% active substance) – 12.5 mg
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, corn starch, calcium carmellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol (PEG 8000), magnesium stearate, red iron oxide (E172), yellow iron oxide (E172).
Kasarki H is indicated for:
Treatment of essential hypertension in adult patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with candesartan cilexetil or hydrochlorothiazide.
Hypersensitivity to the active substances, any excipients, or sulfonamide derivatives (hydrochlorothiazide is a sulfonamide derivative)
Second and third trimesters of pregnancy
Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 mL/min/1.73 m²)
Severe hepatic impairment and/or cholestasis
Refractory hypokalemia and hypercalcemia
Gout
Concomitant use of Kasarki H with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (glomerular filtration rate < 60 mL/min/1.73 m²)
The recommended dose of Kasarki H is 1 tablet once daily.
For oral use.
Kasarki H can be taken with or without food. Food does not affect the bioavailability of candesartan. No clinically significant interactions have been identified between hydrochlorothiazide and food.
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
