For prophylaxis:
Treating new wounds
Prevention of purulent complications during surgery and manipulations
Prevention of purulent complications in respiratory infections
Prevention of hospital-acquired infections
Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation
Effectiveness requires determining the sensitivity of the causative microorganism to the phages in the preparation
Most effective when used early and directly at the infection site
Administered by a physician: orally (per os/per rectum), locally (dressings, tampons), into cavities (wound, abscess, pleural cavity, joint, nose, bladder, vagina/uterus)
For local purulent-inflammatory processes, use both oral and local administration simultaneously
Treatment duration: 5–10 days on average
Dosage depends on size and volume of the affected area
For cavity administration: after drainage and under sterile conditions, once daily for 3–5 days
