Food supplement for strong bones.
Calcium is essential for maintaining normal bones and teeth, as well as for bone growth and development in children. Calcium and vitamin D are also necessary for normal bone growth and development in children.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and also helps maintain normal calcium levels in the blood. In addition, vitamin D contributes to the normal maintenance of bones and teeth and is essential for normal bone formation in children.
Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and protein synthesis, and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and electrolyte balance.
Zinc contributes to normal acid-base metabolism and the maintenance of bones. Zinc also supports normal fatty acid metabolism and protein synthesis and protects cells from oxidative stress.
The main minerals forming bones are:
Calcium: The average adult body contains about 1250 grams of calcium. More than 99% of calcium is found in bones and teeth.
The best dietary sources of calcium include cow’s milk, which is a very rich source of calcium. One liter of cow’s milk contains 1200 mg of calcium; dairy products such as cheese and yogurt; small sea and freshwater fish such as sardines and herring.
Magnesium: The adult body contains about 25 grams of this mineral, 35% of which is in muscles and soft tissues, and the remaining 65% in bone tissue. Most green vegetables are rich in magnesium, as well as legumes such as peas and beans, nuts, certain mollusks, spices, and soy flour, each typically containing more than 500 mg/kg.
Zinc: A healthy adult body contains between 2 and 3 grams of zinc, and about 15 mg of dietary zinc is required daily, which is stored in the bones. Zinc is found in most plant- and animal-based foods, but the richest sources are usually high-protein foods such as meat, seafood, eggs, legumes, and grains.
