​Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Choleretic agent

​Capsule Composition: Yellow gentian root dry extract - 400 mg;
The yellow gentian root dry extract contains a complex of biologically active substances: glycosides (gentiopicrin, amarogentin), which give the extract a bitter taste, enhance bile secretion, and improve liver metabolic function. It also contains the alkaloid gentianine, iridoids, flavonoids, and astringent compounds.

​Pharmacological Action: The preparation has a choleretic effect. It improves bile secretion function, stimulates bile production and its proper flow, which contributes to improved liver function and detoxification. It also enhances gastric juice secretion, intestinal motility, improves digestion and appetite. It destroys pathogenic microflora and helps relieve constipation and flatulence.

​Indications: Used as an adjunct in complex therapy to improve liver and biliary tract function.

- Cholecystitis, cholangitis
- Biliary tract dyskinesia
- Flatulence
- Impaired gastrointestinal tract function

​Contraindications: Increased sensitivity to any component of the preparation; arterial hypertension, hyperacid gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer, pregnancy, and lactation.

​Side Effects: Allergic reactions are possible. Rarely, nausea and abdominal pain may occur.
In case of side effects, the patient should discontinue the treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

​Dosage and Administration:
Adults and adolescents over 18 years: 1 capsule 2–3 times daily, before meals or during meals, with a small amount of water.
Duration of treatment: 21–30 days; if necessary, a repeat course may be carried out after a one-month break.

​Interactions with Other Medicinal Products: May enhance the effect of bile-secreting agents. Not recommended for use with antacid preparations.

​Shelf Life: 2 years

​Storage Conditions: Store at room temperature in a dry place, protected from light. Do not use the preparation after the expiry date or if defects are visually detected.
