Constipation Remedies and Treatments: Discover the Best Laxatives, Syrups, and Suppositories.
Format: Powder sachet #20
Fimic Forte acts simultaneously on the intestinal contents — softening them, and on the intestinal mucosa — protecting it and promoting rapid and complete evacuation of the bowels. Consequently, it relieves problems of constipation, bloating, and the sensation of heaviness.
Psyllium (Plantago seed fiber):A source of soluble fiber. When absorbing water, it takes on a mucilaginous gel consistency, which restores the normal functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. It slows down the processing of fats and carbohydrates, reduces insulin secretion and the feeling of hunger, which aids in weight correction. Psyllium is also a potent enterosorbent and improves intestinal microflora.
Cascara Sagrada (American Buckthorn):Strengthens intestinal peristalsis and ensures soft, regular defecation. The saponins in its composition possess anti-inflammatory and bactericidal activity. They form a protective film on the intestinal mucosa and prevent the processes of fermentation and decay.
Prune:A source of insoluble fiber that stimulates the intestinal wall and activates the passage of stool.
