Saccharomyces boulardii capsule

Supports gastrointestinal health.

Composition:
Diaflora 500: Each capsule contains 500 mg Saccharomyces boulardii (equivalent to 10 billion CFU).

Uses:
• Supports the health of the gastrointestinal tract
• Helps the immune system
• Supports the activity of good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract
• Helps maintain a healthy balance of intestinal flora

Dosage and administration:
Adults:For adults, 250–500 mg Biogut (Saccharomyces boulardii) 2–4 times daily.
Children:For children over three months of age, 250 mg twice daily for five days is recommended. For children under three months, 250 mg capsule twice daily for five days is recommended, or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects:
Saccharomyces boulardii is likely safe for most adults when taken for up to one month. It may cause gas in some individuals. Rarely, it may cause a fungal infection.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Saccharomyces boulardii or any other component of this product.

Precautions:
Individuals with yeast allergies may also be allergic to products containing Saccharomyces boulardii and should preferably avoid such products.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:
There is no information regarding the safety of Saccharomyces boulardii during pregnancy or lactation. A doctor should be consulted if use is necessary during these periods.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from children and direct sunlight.
