Alerfast is used for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Each film-coated tablet contains: Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 120 mg.
Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized corn starch, povidone K30, sodium croscarmellose, magnesium stearate, coating premix pink (hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, purified talc, colorants: titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide red (E172)).
Symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Adults and children aged 12 years and older: For seasonal allergic rhinitis, take Alerfast 120 mg – 1 tablet once daily before meals; for chronic idiopathic urticaria, take Alerfast 180 mg – 1 tablet once daily before meals.
Children aged 6-11 years: Only 30 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets are indicated.
Dose adjustment is not necessary for patients at risk groups (elderly, renal or hepatic impairment).
Central nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue; rarely – insomnia, agitation, sleep disturbances, or unusual dreams (parasomnia).
Gastrointestinal system: nausea, diarrhea.
Immune system: skin rash, erythema, itching, urticaria, angioedema, cough, chest tightness, other hypersensitivity reactions.
Cardiovascular system: tachycardia, palpitations.
If any side effects occur that are not listed in the instructions, the patient should consult their healthcare provider.
Hypersensitivity to any component of the medication.
There are no available data on the use of this medication during pregnancy; therefore, its use during pregnancy is not recommended. Use during pregnancy is only advised if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
If treatment is necessary during breastfeeding, breastfeeding should be discontinued since fexofenadine hydrochloride is excreted into breast milk.
Store below 25ºC in a dry place, out of reach of children.
Do not use the medication if any defects are observed upon visual inspection.
